Nice Guy 03:03
VERSE We’ll stay up all night, if that’s the way that you want it Set this bed on fire, if that’s the way that you like it I could try loving you the way that you’re used to Rip your pretty heart out and then tear it in two If you want me to be rough, wear your name on my heart like a tattoo CHORUS But you know I’ve always been the nice guy Never hurt you back, tried to treat you right But baby I know I could be the man of your dreams If I learn to fuck you over just like every other guy that you’ve been with Or could you love a nice guy like me? VERSE TWO Yeah I could break the rules to all the games that you’re playing And with a sucker punch, I’d leave you in a second And I can see you on the floor here in pieces Tell you pretty lies and give a thousand excuses Leave you holding on, saying one day maybe I would come back to you, if I wanted to CHORUS But you know I’ve always been the nice guy Never hurt you back, tried to treat you right But baby I know I could be the man of your dreams If I learn to fuck you over just like every other guy that you’ve been with Or could you love a nice guy like me? MIDDLE 8 Baby I know I could be the man of your dreams Oh baby I know I could be the man of your dreams CHORUS But you know I’ve always been the nice guy Never hurt you back, tried to treat you right But baby I know I could be the man of your dreams If I learn to fuck you over just like every other guy that you’ve been with Or could you love a nice guy like me?

CHORUS I made a list of the reasons I loved ya, And all of the shit that you did that was wrong, The bad came so easy, when I think of the reasons I want ya, I can’t even think of one. VERSE When people ask how I been, I always say I’m alright, And when I ask how you’re doing, they always say that you’re fine, You were kind and I was young, how was I supposed to know? I thought I was a fool to let you go. It’s been a couple of years, why am I still writing songs? About the best that I had, love must be blind cos all along, You were cruel, manipulating, every move we made, And I took it for love, it’s such a shame, Now I feel like a fool over again. CHORUS I made a list of the reasons I loved ya, And all of the shit that you did that was wrong, The bad came so easy, when I think of the reasons I want ya, I can’t even think of one. VERSE TWO Said you’d be a couple of hours, crawl in at quarter past five, Said we’d do dinner at eight, been waiting round all night, Lent you a couple grand, you drank it all away, And made it out like I’m the one to blame. I’m through with singing your praise, been making out like you’re a saint, Heard you been running your mouth, but two can play at that game, I never got the chance, to shout it to your face, But I still got a few more things to say. CHORUS I made a list of the reasons I loved ya, And all of the shit that you did that was wrong, The bad came so easy, when I think of the reasons I want ya, I can’t even think of one, I can’t even think of one, I can’t even think of one, I can’t even think of one.

Soulmates 03:50
I sometimes wonder, After the years go by, How many soulmates, Have I left behind? I sometimes question, Through all of the bodies I’ve touched, Was I ever reckless, With hearts running out of time? But boy you were different, Yeah you, you were never mine But do you know, You coulda been, One of my soulmates Before you go, Just promise me, You’ll always remember us this way For me it’s for life For you just a moment in time But do you know, You coulda been, One of my soulmates I sometimes wonder, What if we collide, Hearts still remember, Did you keep a piece of mine? But do you know, You coulda been, One of my soulmates Before you go, Just promise me, You’ll always remember us this way For me it’s for life For you just a moment in time But do you know, You coulda been, One of my soulmates Boy you were different, Yeah you, you were never mine, But boy I coulda loved you, if you’d let me, 'stead of loving you for the night But do you know, You coulda been, One of my soulmates Before you go, Just promise me, You’ll always remember us this way For me it’s for life For you just a moment in time But do you know, You coulda been, One of my soulmates

Beauty Queen 03:39
VERSE Wish I could sleep a little while It’s 3am, I’m hanging out with the voices in my mind Tell me where do I begin I’m always in this silent war with the body I live in PRE Get all dressed up to go nowhere For strangers on the internet To tell me just how beautiful I am CHORUS The curtain falls and I’m still fucking lonely, It’s like I’m tryna make the whole world love me But when they call me beauty queen, It’ll fix this broken part of me, Yeah I just want the audience to want me, Until the whole world, La la la la la la la la loves me La la la la la la la la loves me VERSE TWO I find magic in applause, But then the silence comes around, it’s just me and these four walls, And the walls they’re closing in, Maybe I should leave this town, pack up and start again. PRE TWO Get all dressed up for something new, To hide my scars the way I do, I’d put make-up on my heart if I could. CHORUS The curtain falls and I’m still fucking lonely, It’s like I’m tryna make the whole world love me But when they call me beauty queen, It’ll fix this broken part of me, Yeah I just want the audience to want me, Until the whole world, La la la la la la la la loves me, La la la la la la la la loves me. MIDDLE 8 Oh youth is like a treasure chest, But it’s worthless when there’s nothing left, This currency, commodity, Will it fix this broken part of me again and again? CHORUS The curtain falls and I’m still fucking lonely, It’s like I’m tryna make the whole world love me But when they call me beauty queen, It’ll fix this broken part of me, Yeah I just want the audience to want me, Until the whole world ...

I Know He'll Be Gone In A Little While

about

I’m so excited to announce my debut album ‘Notes On A Hopeless Romance’ is coming out this May! It’s been a proper labour of love putting this together over the past couple years. Making an album is something I’ve always dreamt of. To finally have the finished collection of songs in my hands is quite a surreal feeling.

I wanted to push myself outside of my comfort zone with this project. It’s a big melting pot of brash, electronic, melancholic, gospel-inspired pop music that I hope makes you feel things and gives you some comfort in the chaos of finding love, especially queer love! It’s dedicated to all the hearts I’ve known, all the hearts I’ve fallen for a little too quickly, and all the hearts that have screwed me over, even if I’m still a bit bitter.
